How to Join

Connect Flipnote Studio to RexiMemo using your console's DNS settings.

Nintendo DSi setup

You need a working Wi-Fi connection and the original Flipnote Studio application.

Before you begin: if you have not accepted the DSi Network Services Agreement, configure Wi-Fi on Connection 4, 5, or 6, then open System Settings → Internet → User Agreement and accept it.

  1. Open System Settings.From the Nintendo DSi Menu, open System Settings.
  2. Open Internet settings.Go to Page 3, tap Internet, then Connection Settings and Advanced Setup.
  3. Select your Wi-Fi connection.If you do not already have one, choose an empty connection and connect to your Wi-Fi normally.
  4. Change the connection settings.Tap Setup Complete for that connection, then choose Change Settings.
  5. Open DNS settings.Scroll until you reach Auto-Obtain DNS. Set it to No, then tap Detailed Setup.
  6. Enter the RexiMemo DNS addresses.Use the values below, then tap OK.
    Primary DNS141.147.076.115
    Secondary DNS000.000.000.000
    Make sure proxy settings are disabled.
  7. Save and test the connection.Tap Save, then Yes to run the connection test.
  8. Open RexiMemo.Launch Flipnote Studio, tap Flipnote Hatena, and tap OK. Once connected, choose Creator's Room.
