Open Settings → Profile. By default, RexiMemo lets you choose one of your own uploaded Flipnotes as your profile picture, or leave it on Automatic (latest Flipnote).
The website uses the chosen Flipnote's selected thumbnail frame. The DSi Creator's Room avatar is made from the same desktop PNG source, center-cropped and resized for the DSi profile slot, so the website and DSi use the same chosen artwork.
Automatic (latest Flipnote) leaves the explicit avatar setting empty. In that mode, RexiMemo uses your newest Flipnote as the current profile picture when one is available.
Supporter+ custom profile pictures
Active RexiMemo Supporter+ members can upload any image as their profile picture from Settings → Profile, instead of using a Flipnote.
- Uploads can be up to 8 MB.
- PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, BMP and other standard readable image formats are accepted.
- RexiMemo safely re-encodes the image as PNG before storing it. Animated images use their first frame.
- Very large images are resized during processing.
A custom Supporter+ image is never made public immediately. It is sent to the RexiMemo moderator queue first. Your current profile picture remains unchanged while the new image is waiting for review.
If moderators approve the image, it becomes your active profile picture on both the RexiMemo website and your DSi Creator's Room. If it is rejected, RexiMemo keeps your previous profile picture and can show the moderator's reason in your notifications.
You can submit a replacement while another custom image is already approved. The approved image stays live until moderators approve the replacement.
If Supporter+ ends
An already-approved custom profile picture can remain active if your Supporter+ membership later becomes inactive. However, you need an active Supporter+ membership to upload or replace a custom image.
You can switch away from a custom profile picture at any time by choosing Automatic or one of your Flipnotes in Settings → Profile and saving the page.
