RexiMemo's enforceable content rules are in the Terms of Use. They apply to Flipnotes, comments, profiles, usernames, console names, channel content and other submissions.
Self-harm, death, injury and suicide
Uncensored depictions of self-harm, death, injury or suicide are prohibited everywhere on RexiMemo, including Sensitive 16+. This includes fictional, drawn, animated, stylised and non-graphic depictions as well as realistic imagery. The harmful act and its visible result must be fully obscured or omitted in every relevant frame and preview.
A warning or 16+ label does not count as censorship. Neither does partial covering, blur or pixelation that leaves the prohibited harm visible, or a hidden layer viewers can turn back on. Non-graphic discussion and effectively censored depictions may be allowed in Sensitive 16+, depending on the complete work and the other rules.
Other prohibited content
The rules also cover pornography and sexually explicit content, grooming and sexual exploitation, prohibited realistic or graphic gore and medical distress, harassment, private information, profanity, stolen material, abusive automation, moderation evasion and other misuse. Encouraging, promoting, glorifying or giving instructions or methods for suicide or self-harm remains prohibited even if the imagery is censored. Censorship does not override any other rule.
What Sensitive 16+ means
Sensitive 16+ restricts otherwise-permitted mature or distressing material to eligible accounts. It does not make prohibited content acceptable. Staff may hide or remove material based on its context, intensity, repetition or presentation, and serious or repeated violations may lead to account restrictions.
The explicit censorship requirement was added on 25 October 2026. If staff ask you to revise an older upload, follow their message and the current Terms rather than re-uploading the same uncensored version.
The Terms of Use contain the controlling rules if this summary leaves out a detail.
