What this means
Could not obtain an IP address by DHCP.
This family means the console could not obtain an IP address from the network. Ensure the router's DHCP server is enabled, restart the network, or use correct manual IP settings if your network requires them.
What to try
- Restart the router or hotspot and the DSi, then retry the connection test.
- Make sure the network is assigning IP addresses with DHCP. If you use manual network settings, check the IP address, subnet mask and gateway carefully.
- Once the DSi receives an IP address, retry Flipnote Studio.
