Encoded Flipnotes are Flipnotes created with an external encoder instead of being drawn or animated directly in Flipnote Studio.

Encoded Flipnotes are allowed on RexiMemo, but they have stricter rules. All normal RexiMemo Terms of Use and content rules still apply.

Encoded Flipnotes may not be allowed on other services, including Sudomemo. Saving an encoded Flipnote and re-uploading it to another service may be against that service's rules. Always check the other service's current Terms of Use and rules before uploading it there.

Additional rules for encoded Flipnotes

The source material must either be your own original work, or your encoded Flipnote must make meaningful, transformative changes to the source material.

Simply converting and reposting somebody else's YouTube video, artwork, animation, Flipnote, or other material is not allowed.

Do not use encoding as a way to upload stolen artwork or other people's work.

You are still responsible for having any rights or permission required to use the source material. Transforming something does not automatically give you permission to upload it.

Encoded Flipnotes may be removed if staff believe they are primarily a reupload, contain stolen material, or otherwise break RexiMemo's rules.
