RexiMemo Supporter+ is the RexiMemo Patreon membership for people who want to support the service and receive supporter-only RexiMemo benefits. Supporter+ is £26 GBP per month through Patreon. If Patreon displays another currency, Patreon converts the membership price for that currency.
RexiMemo does not collect your Patreon email, card details or bank details. You link your Patreon membership to your RexiMemo account so RexiMemo can check whether the Supporter+ tier is active and issue the correct benefits.
What Supporter+ includes
- 1 Supporter+ Ticket after each successfully processed monthly Supporter+ payment.
- Early access to Flipnote Editor while the editor is still being developed.
- Exclusive access to Flipnote Encoder, which can turn compatible videos into Flipnote Studio PPM files without using a DSi.
- Custom profile pictures: upload any image from Settings → Profile and, after moderator approval, use it as your profile picture on the website and DSi Creator's Room.
- The Supporter+ role in the RexiMemo Discord server when your Discord account is linked.
- Access to
.rexi encodein Discord while Supporter+ is active and your Discord account is linked to RexiMemo.
You can see your current membership state and link Patreon from the Supporter+ page. Patreon can also be managed from Settings → Connections.
Supporter+ Ticket rewards
A Supporter+ Ticket has no losing result. Redeeming one always awards all four parts below:
- 10–20 Green Stars
- 1–10 Red Stars
- 1–5 Purple Stars
- +30 Purple Stars as the Supporter+ bonus
This means each Supporter+ Ticket gives a total of 31–35 Purple Stars, in addition to the Green and Red Stars. The random amounts are rolled separately when the Ticket is redeemed.
Supporter+ Tickets use the normal Ticket Inventory. If a special-Ticket slot is not immediately available, the Ticket can remain queued until RexiMemo can place it into the inventory.
Linking Patreon to RexiMemo
- Sign in to the RexiMemo account that should receive your Supporter+ benefits.
- Open RexiMemo Supporter+.
- Choose Connect Patreon.
- Sign in to the Patreon account that holds the Supporter+ membership and approve the connection.
- RexiMemo checks the membership and, if the current monthly payment is eligible and has not already been processed, adds that month's Supporter+ Ticket.
You can join Supporter+ on Patreon before linking RexiMemo. Linking afterwards lets RexiMemo check the current membership and the latest eligible payment. RexiMemo keeps a payment reward record so the same Patreon charge cannot issue the monthly Ticket twice.
Flipnote Editor and Flipnote Encoder access
While Supporter+ remains active, RexiMemo automatically gives the linked account early access to Flipnote Editor and exclusive access to Flipnote Encoder. You do not need a separate experiment invitation for these supporter benefits.
Flipnote Editor is an early-access feature and may change while it is being developed. Flipnote Encoder is a Supporter+ feature and is available only while the Patreon entitlement is active, apart from administrator access used to operate and test RexiMemo.
Custom profile pictures
While Supporter+ is active, open Settings → Profile to upload any image as a custom profile picture. RexiMemo re-encodes the upload as a safe PNG and sends it to the moderator queue. Your existing profile picture stays unchanged until the new image is approved.
After approval, the custom image is used on both the website and DSi Creator's Room. If Supporter+ later becomes inactive, an already-approved custom profile picture can stay active, but uploading or replacing one requires an active Supporter+ membership.
Discord Supporter+ benefits
To receive the Discord benefits, first link your Discord account from Settings → Connections. If the linked Discord account is in the RexiMemo server, RexiMemo automatically keeps the Supporter+ role in sync with the Patreon membership.
An active Supporter+ member with a linked Discord account can also use .rexi encode. Attach a supported video to the same Discord message as the command; .rexi help encode shows the available options.
What happens if Supporter+ ends?
Supporter-only access follows the current Patreon entitlement. When the membership is no longer active, RexiMemo removes Supporter+ access to Flipnote Editor, Flipnote Encoder, the Discord Supporter+ role and .rexi encode.
Rewards you already received are not taken back. Redeemed Stars remain in the normal RexiMemo star system, and Supporter+ Tickets already issued to your account remain yours.
If something is not updating
Open the Supporter+ page and choose Refresh Patreon status. Make sure you linked the Patreon account that actually holds the Supporter+ tier. For Discord benefits, also make sure the correct Discord account is linked to RexiMemo and is a member of the RexiMemo Discord server.
If your payment is successful but the membership still does not update after refreshing, contact RexiMemo support with your RexiMemo username and a description of what is missing. Do not send payment card details, Patreon passwords, access tokens or other secret credentials.
