DNS is what sends Flipnote Studio to RexiMemo instead of Nintendo's retired online service. If the DSi is using a different saved connection, or the RexiMemo DNS was not saved correctly, Flipnote Studio can fail before a RexiMemo page ever loads.
Check the active connection
- Open the DSi Internet settings and identify the saved connection the console is actually using.
- Compare its DNS values with the current instructions on How to Join.
- Save the connection and run the DSi connection test.
- Open Flipnote Studio and try Flipnote Hatena again.
Error 20110 is a common sign that the console reached Nintendo's discontinued service instead of RexiMemo. If the DNS is correct but the same problem only happens on one network, try another compatible network or hotspot; the original network may be intercepting custom DNS.
